Update: Donations roll in for San Jose Flood Victims Relief Fund

Update for Friday, March 31: 

As of March 31, donations to the San Jose Flood Victims Relief Fund are at $6,394,053. Another $227,389 has been pledged. The fund has received a total of 3,006 contributions. 

SVCF is pleased to report other new donations and pledges, in addition to those listed below from previous days.

  • Heising-Simons Foundation - $75,000
  • Kaiser Permanente - $50,000

Update for Friday, March 24: 

As of March 24, donations to the San Jose Flood Victims Relief Fund are at $6,310,881. Another $157,389 has been pledged. The fund has received a total of 2,895 contributions.

  • Flex - up to $10,000 in matching gifts

Update for Friday, March 17: 

Donations and pledges to the San Jose Flood Victims Relief Fund have risen to $6,378,560. The fund has received a total of 2,800 gifts.

Donations and pledges to the San Jose Flood Victims Relief Fund have risen to $6,053,222. 

Update for Wednesday, March 1: Fund receives $5 million donation from businessman Kieu Hoang

Thanks to an incredibly generous donation of $5 million from Mr. Kieu Hoang, CEO and chairman of RAAS, on March 1, donations and pledges to the San Jose Flood Victims Relief Fund have risen to $6,013,213.

Update for Tuesday, Feb. 28: Donations top $988,000

As of noon on Tuesday, Feb. 28, donations and pledges to the San Jose Flood Victims Relief Fund have risen to $988,320.

SVCF is pleased to report new donations and pledges, in addition to those listed below from previous days. The figures below are included in the overall $988,320 total: 

  • Silicon Valley Community Foundation's Community Opportunity Fund - $50,000
  • Sobrato Philanthropies - $50,000
  • The San Jose Earthquakes have increased the amount of their pledged matching funds (announced last week) to $15,000. 

Update for Monday, Feb. 27: Donations near $900,000

As of 12:15 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, donations and pledges to the San Jose Flood Victims Relief Fund have risen to $899,005.

SVCF and the office of Mayor Sam Liccardo are pleased to report new donations and pledges from the following companies and organizations, in addition to those listed below from last week. The figures below are included in the overall $899,005 total:

  • Palo Alto Networks - $10,000 (to match employee gifts)

Update for Friday, Feb. 24: Donations top $500,000

As of noon on Friday, Feb. 24, donations and pledges to the San Jose Flood Victims Relief Fund have risen to $519, 092.

Thursday, Feb. 23 totals: 

As of 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23, generous individuals and companies have given or pledged $412,597 to the San Jose Flood Victims Relief Fund at SVCF! Thousands of families and individuals have been affected by the flooding of Coyote Creek this week.
