Conference on Charitable Giving offers education, networking for financial advisors, philanthropy professionals

Financial advisors, attorneys, CPAs and philanthropy professionals are invited to join us for the Conference on Charitable Giving, Thursday, May 12 at Stanford University in Palo Alto. 

This full-day conference and networking opportunity is co-presented by Silicon Valley Community Foundation and Stanford University's Office of Planned Giving.

Attendees will hear from expert speakers and panelists about new developments and emerging practices in the field of philanthropic advising. 

Continuing education credits are available: 

  • CFRE – 6 credits
  • MCLE & Specialization in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law – 5 credits

  • CFP – 5 credits

The keynote speaker will be Stanford University's Dan Klein, lecturer of management, Graduate School of Business, lecturer, Stanford Theater and Performance Studies Department, instructor, d.school, and resident fellow. Klein's session, titled, "Status and connection: Expanding your authentic range," will focus on maintaining authenticity while creating stronger personal and professional connections.
